I thought that the Mamiya 500TL was the cat's meow until I handled
someone else's Pentax Spotmatic. Like the difference between a Bessa
R2 and a Leica M6. The Pentax's rubberized curtain was more like
ker-chunk than ker-chack! For anything requiring quiet, I used my
father's Retina.
