I recently bought a nice old koni-omega 6x7 rangefinder. I just printed
some photos taken with the equally slow koni-omega 90/3.5 lens using
tri-x pushed to 1600. The prints came out truly great!! So, to some
extent, the large negatives do compensate for the slower lens.
