Franky, given Leica's financial position and utter lack of marketing
acumen, I think that even at this point they'd be better off announcing
that they were scrapping the DMR and putting all the development thus
far into a dedicated digital body for R lenses. They simply haven't got
enough of a market for a back AND a manual focus DSLR. The DSLR is where
they should have been going from the beginning...

There is a persistent rumour here that Leica will anounce a digital R
body next year for release in the fall. Wonder if the downpayment on the
