Subject: [Leica] SLR lenses to Leica adapter

Oh My! Fuzzy thinking on my part - I was always assuming that since the SLR 
lens has some sort of aperture lever thingie that some sort of linkage must 
exist to transfer aperture info from the lens to the camera. After looking 
at your email and apply some underused brain cells, I suppose the meter on 
the M (M6/M7) measures.... the light directly through the lens opening 
since the aperture is immediately changed on the RF lens. Therefore, this 
adapter does not have to link the aperture setting because there isn't any!
