Good point about the viewfinder. I have to look both ways just to see the
35mm frame lines in my 0.72 M6. With the Tri-Elmar at 28, I would need a
dedicated finder in the hot shoe. Or buy a 0.58 M6 TTL or M7, which I am
not prepared to do.

Thank you................Julian

Probably very true in Version 2. However, there are first versions that do
not show the problem, whatever it is.... and that was my point. Some of the
Version 1 have problems. To what degree this is a recurring problem after
the first repair is the really interesting question.

There are points on the 3E that need real decision making, IMHO...
1) Do you use or see with the 28mm lens? Is this FL right or wrong for you?
( If not, the 35 and 50 Sum microns are the right and lighter ( pun
intended) solution,
2) Can you see the VF mask with the camera model you own or will you need to
buy another body to see the 28 frame lines?
3) Do you perceive the need for the finger thingie? ( Some people can not
live without it, some don't care.) This is a version issue... V1 or V2?
4) Is f4 enough? or will it require you to carry a faster lens anyway, at
which point you start to wonder if a 35 and 50 Summicron are not a better
match for light travel.
