[Leica] D70 Durability

Any of you who are my age remember when Ritz used to sell "ruggedized"
cameras back in the '70s? They took a new SLR, and glued pleated
rubber all over the outside of it? I've never seen one show up on the
used market, so I doubt that they sold many of them.
