I am amazed how much the dollar exchange rate fluctuates. In about 1980 
it was $2.40 to the UK pound. In the late 80's it got down to around 
$1.2 whilst I was on holiday in Florida EXPENSIVE. It is now $1.90 or 
so, probably a fairly natural level.
