tina,

from what little i know about it, linksys makes the most popular 
windows wireless system.  basically what you will need to do is get a 
wireless base station and wireless cards for your computers.  you may 
be able to leave your desktop computer hard wired to the base station.

search for "wireless networking" on google, and i think you'll find all 
the information you need.
