A digital Rebel costs about $400 to build?? If that. Canon has the $$$ to
make everything.

Nikon set up a plant in Thailand just to build the D70, which I'm sure also
probably costs around $400.

At least the RD-1 is a metal body.

Do we what plastic, cheap, gone in 6 months Leica gear???
