If you can find one, the 21 Zeiss Distagon for the G system is also pretty spectacular. The new 19 is right up there in edge quality by F8 so if you don't own an M system there is not a hugely compelling reason to go in that direction. Should you truly need the coverage of the 19, then use a wall to brace the camera against, use the mirror lock up, and stop down to F8 or F11 using a film with the qualities the end use requires. If you can, I think Frank's suggestion of a 6X9 format with the newer wide angles will give you a better image with the usual caveats about size bulk, number of shots available, yada, yada, yada.
