Sehr interessant Peter,
I knew about the Yashica medical macro with a built-in ring flash, which is
supposed to be quite fantastic but I'd never heard of the Kiron. Also
interesting
to hear, from quite a few people already, that the 4/100 Macro-Elmar is not
quite one of the best Leica lenses.
It looks, so far, as if the Yashica 55mm may be quite a "Geheimtipp" in the
field of macro.
Could you post a shot (or mail me a jpeg) of a coin, or something else
commonplace, taken close in with the 60mm Macro Elmarit on the 20D?
I'd like to know how the Yashica compares with a lens of a similar focal
length.
