$7K would just be a disaster given the R&D. Just make a few
silver/gold/titanium commemorative bodies instead and they'll
sell the same number of bodies for the same price.

I hope Leica can get its act together and build a *decent* M body
that many/most buyers won't be buying with expectations of passing
it on to their grandkids - and priced accordingly.
