I don't think so.  I have the Digilux 1 and cannot think of any situations 
when I would use it instead of the other digital cameras I have.  I do like 
the fact that it is silent, but the high ISO's are useless and that would 
be my main use of a point and shoot.  The shutter delay is also big drawback.
