I take it you haven't been to a Circuit City or similar store
recently, Marc because they are, in essence, exactly the same in
concept except they use conveyor belts instead of baskets. Probably
B&H uses conveyors for their big items.

I think you've made a fundamental disconnect between the scale of any
store in Roanoke and the value of that store's inventory compared to
B&H's inventory and the value of that inventory.

What might not work for low-value consumer goods does seem to work for
the high-value goods they sell. That they seem to be not only making
money at their business but thriving in the process seems to suggest
that your argument is more theory than reality.
