Right, Don. I work in my airconditioned (72F) and humidity controlled
office. The computer is nowhere near a window. The tower stays up on
stand and is cool and dust free. The LaCie external hard drives do get
warm, but I have them sitting on a cooling platform that has two built-in
fans. I don't know what else to do. I've started searching the internet
for computer repair people who will make house calls to Rock Hill, SC, but
I'm really nervous about letting just anybody work on my computer. So far,
of the 4 computer repair sites in Rock Hill, 3 of them have web sites that
don't work :-(
