We are all (me, wife, 2 children) going to fly to Barcelona on Wednesday night or Thursday morning and stay until Sunday night. I will then drive up to Perpignan for the day on Saturday the 3rd. That's the plan for now. The only thing that can sink it is if I cannot get a place in the dog pension for my dog, but it should not be a problem, the summer is over by then.
