B.D., Haven't we been around this concept enough times to realize IT AIN'T
GONNA HAPPEN?

B.D., C doesn't want it, N doesn't want it, lens buyers will be leery of it
because of C and N's habit of making older lenses less useful on newer
bodies - particularly third-party lenses. Cheaper lens makers can exploit
the niche because of their lower prices. Would you be willing to pay
Leica-sized prices for a lens that will become obsolete?

B.D., never having used an R lens, you don't realize that one of the reasons
people are willing to pay so much for a lens is not only are they typically
best-in-class optics but also are fully usable on the latest body. - even a
lens made in 1965 (with updated cams).

And finally B.D., what gives you the right to presume to know the motives of
people who are interested in R equipment? This isn't about equipment B.D.,
it's about your attempts at denigrating people.
