Well I am most definitely not a member of the 'only good pc is a dead pc,'
or the 'only good mac is one with special sauce, lettuce, cheese' brigades.
But my experience has been that when either of my windows machines -
Thinkpad and custom built desktop, former running XP, latter running 2000 -
freeze up, I have to reboot the machine, not just the program. And I still
have virus probs, despite various electronic condoms. All of that said,
however, I can still live comfortably in either world. But damn, I would
miss the search function in OS X.4 if I had to give up the Powerbook.
