Hi Richard,

I don't see the 'general grayness' as a problem. My initial scans are low in
contrast and too light because I prefer them that way.  I find it easier to
darken and add contrast than to start too dark and contrasty and then try to
reverse it. If you thought them too light I don't understand why you didn't
darken them in PS. Or were you poking the list rottweilers with a stick :-)
