Throwing in my two cents - the tints and other issues that required
third-party drivers/RIPs or inksets have been eliminated in the newest
generation of Epson printers (R2400 upward, but not the R1800 which I
haven't used) and supposedly the HP printers as well.

IOW, no need to even think about it until you're pretty good at
digital workflow.
