The Indians used bows at first but then adopted the new technology of the
invading disease carrying illegal immigrants, from then on out deer
populations declined rapidly.  There were however more than a few deaths due
to improper use of firearms.  A 55-60 calibre lead projectile causes quite a
bit more damage than a #3 or so bird shot.

By all means bring back the tribes, they now have their uber-weapon, the
casino, to extract ultimate revenge.  :)
