Subject: [Leica] Photography as a serious art form

I strongly disagree with the comment that digitally manipulated images are
not an art form. Manipulation is just another way of printing an image to
the specifications that your mind's eye sees. You want to make the image
cleaner? You want to blur the background? Is that what you want? Then do it!
This is YOUR art. Manipulated images too plentiful? No negative to destroy
to create a limited edition?- Destroy the disk. Art Galleries not showing
images? When image makers achieve the fame of the old photographers the
galleries will sell digital prints. Come on. The times have changed. There
is no going back- absolutely no going back- and galleries will make money in
the future as they do today. Bests: vroger
