I was incredibly remiss in forgetting to mention that you can get from 
Frankfurt to Amsterdam in about 3 hours or from Cologne to Amsterdam in 
2 1/2 hours on the ICE train. The BeneLUGgers will be pleased to show 
you a good time in Amsterdam :-)
