If you are ever here, and doing the tourist thing on Broadway, there is one place that is cool beyond cool you must check out: http://gallery.leica-users.org/album395/hatch_show_print This is a letter press operation that has been in business doing promotional posters since the late 1800's. You can go in there and buy re-strikes of actual show posters of all kinds of Hall-of-Fame musicians, run in the last fifty years, for prices ranging from $10 for simple telephone-pole flyers, to $150 for really large multi-color ones. Posters for everyone from Patsy to Porno for Pyros. They are still in the poster business. My friend JD has stuff for his punkabilly band run there, and one of the press operators is such a big fan that she operates the band's website.
