I just want to echo what Jim replied. We are a small software company that 
sell some hardware development boards once in a while. Because of the 
potential losses and all the custom forms, as a policy, we don't ship 
hardware oversea unless customers want to pay for UPS etc. The most US 
Postal Service offers is Express Mail, but a) they don't guarantee transit 
time, and b) if it gets lost or hung up for whatever reason, they can't do 
anything or find out exactly what's going on for at least 30 days.

You would think that Canada is no problem. Au contraire, UPS/FedEX often 
got stuck at the Canadian Custom because they want NAFTA, SED, commercial 
invoices etc. It's a tough way to make a few bucks~!!! and sometimes this 
past 12 months, the Canadian postal went on strike for a couple months or 
something. Boy, was that ever fun....
