Having just picked up a Ricoh GR Digital and finding it damn near
perfect for a carry everywhere camera I can only recommend it to you.
It's replaced my Stylus Epic and that's saying a lot. It's "28mm"
only and no IS (but who needs it at 28mm?) but does use SD cards and
works well down to 1.5 cm from the subject in Macro Mode.

Ricoh seems committed to continually updating the camera. They're
latest firmware release (2.10) allows the user to set up the Adjust
button to bring up their four favorite functions directly.

Also fits in my shirt pocket with a 28/35 minifinder attached.

Neat camera. I'm going to have it a long time, I think.

>Hi all- any recommendations for a camera you love for travel- that
>goes from 28mm to about 120mm having a good macro and stabilization
>and uses SD cards? I have a couple others- but they aren't exactly
>what I like. One is old and has a long shutter delay and red-eye
>problems, and the other has a screen that is too small and focus is
>a pain and poor macro range. Thanks. Stasys
