I've always felt that the 2:3 aspect ratio was somewhat irrational.  The 
final prints are usually in the 3:4 or 4:5 aspect ratios, and cropping 
is always a necessity.

The same is still true with 2:3 digital sensors, and a 10MP sensor is 
really equivalent to a 9.1MP 3:4 sensor.

Now, 6x6 was something else, and I actually enjoyed shooting using 
Mamiya 6, the medium format Leica.
