Kyle:

Good Show!

Mankind has a beginningless legacy of cruelty to animals - especially
if they are smaller than we are.

Perhaps, if we took our frustrations out on each other, there would be
fewer of us around to torment animals.

Like many people who are forced by events into doing the right thing
with animals, my wife and I have taken in, adopted or saved 5 large
dogs over the past ten years. Each of them facing very uncertain fates
and having suffered inexplicable cruelty.

As a result of this, we believe our life spans have been extended, and
- hopefully - very small piece of mankind's regrettable karma with
animals has been offset. The gentle, comical, compelling,
unconditional love we have received from these creatures is beyond
description.

Your photo is great; the gesture is greater. I'm thinking your eyes
have been opened wider and we may see more such shots from you.

Please; show us more shots like this as the flow of life frames them
for you. No turning back, now!

Regards,

Bob in Seattle

I'm disappointed. While you were doing this karmic work you
obviously didn't see fit to have these two guys named appropriately.
Obviously their destines call for them to be known as Lee and
Friedlander.

(and if I were anywhere close to there they wouldn't be homeless.
GREAT shot.)
