Alastair, Frame Offset on the Input tab. Try clicking it couple times to 
get a value of around 3.87 or so... Sometimes I use up to 5 if there is 
fair amount of empty space. High quality scan is pretty easy. I use Vuescan 
with both NikonScan and the Minolta 5400 with nary a problem on B&W (Neopan 
400/1600, Tri-X, ...)
