Subject: [Leica] M8: "I think it's going to be all right" - transposed to Canon, Nikon, etc. etc.

Actually BD, They did just look the other way recently when Nikon went
through some serious banding and other problems with the D200. They just
waited for the fix, yes there were a few grumbles but nothing like this over
the M8. They also did nothing about the long wait for the product, where
those waiting for the DMR trashed Leica for months about the wait for the
product. Don't know about Canon DSLRs, but I'm sure they have had their
share of problems, but not much was heard from my memory. Yes Leica has
made a mistake over the M8, but i remember back when the roar about the DMR,
was that Leica should have shipped it and then fixed any problems afterward
instead of waiting for the proper fix before shipping. Well this time they
did just that and now they are getting dragged through the mud anyway.
Seems they are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.
