I straddle the two platforms, using both a Mac and PC for my LUG
activities. So I would notice the problem--for example, my week 45
posting was sent from my Powerbook using the Mail program, and when I
pull it up on my Windows PC, the link is fine. I guess because my links
tend to be reasonably short.

But I am with Brian on this--when I see a broken link, I often do not
bother putting it back together to visit the site in question.

Another solution for people who have long links and use Macs: get
Thunderbird instead. As far as I can tell, it does not break links on
either platform.
