The 80 works I've played with that. Not an awe inspiring lens like the 105
or 63 or 180 but it won't embarrass you. I've made thousands of images with
it. Many from 35mm negs till the 63 kicked in.
Not sure about the Bokeh it's on it its an ok lens 5.6 I've found to be slow
I've been wanting to replace that with an f4 JSK or Rodagon. Probably have
to pay 40 bucks for it. So much for Starbucks that week!
Lots of darkroom glass being sold for a song.
The 63 though started out as a copy lens of some sort.
The light was supposed to come through from the other end!
Got to get a more full assortment of tubes and so on so whatever optic comes
my way can be put to immediate use.
My enlarger is a D2. With Aristo VC coldlight head. Getting it back into
alignment will be interesting in the years to come with my next darkroom.
Be interesting to output to 4x5 film some of the work I've been doing lately
tweaking in Photoshop. Not just digital captures but 35mm film scanned then
tweaked then outputted to large film. Someone's bound to have tried it
before. Today I thought of outputting to film the size to be contacted. One
lens optic. No light scatter. Self masking if you catch my drift.
