Subject: [Leica] Do-it-yourself lens coding

Well, it's begun.

Remember how we were speculating that a cottage industry would crop up
providing a less costly solution for the Leica M8 lens coding? Turns out
you can do it in your own cottage with nothing more than a Sharpie*. How
long it lasts has not yet been tested. :-)

* For non-'muricans, a Sharpie is a felt-tipped marking pen with
"permanent" ink.
