Nothing was mentioned about sterile labs. Carrying your suggestion to a 
logical end might prove unsettling for many M8 owners. What if the 
Nikkormat with a 50mm f2.0 provided a better finished product than your 
M8? Think there is a chance of that happening? Adobe Photoshop  could 
possibly make my old F3 look better than your new M8. :-)   We ought to 
try this just for the heck of it.
