Bathtubs are a lot better for going downhill (especially when snowy) 
or crossing large bodies of water than couches, or even inflatable 
fowl.

It's a bit hard to tell, but is this the same set of photos published 
in the 80's? I have that book; I'll have to open it up again.

As a municipal planning comment, a very nice photo. As a standalone 
photo, maybe some inflatable fowl or farmers enjoying the spa might 
have been interesting.
