Jeff, (John's yahoo mail bouncing for me right now). I think that John is 
saying that he only has access via a public computer (no
graphics program I guess) and wants to know how to resize images suitable 
for uploading. I've seen old Pouncy, he's obviously a much
loved feline.

Well...  your initial disappointment that the LUG strips attachments
(for which, by the way, I silently thank Brian each and every day)
implies that you attempted to send the picture in email.

If you could do that, that implies that you must have have the picture
in digital form, and must somehow have attached it to your email (sent
perhaps via a Yahoo webmail form or the like?)

If you can upload your picture to a webmail form, then you can upload it
to another web form at the LUG Gallery:

  http://gallery.leica-users.org/

Just register as a gallery user, create an album, and upload that cat.
