It just means that you have to be more ruthless when editing: if 
pictures are for family and friend snaps, then who care? Just mass 
convert them to JPG, throw away the really bad ones, and you are 
done. If the pictures are more for "artistic" purposes 
(photographically speaking), then it should be easy to delete 80% of 
the stuff at first pass. If your hit rate is much higher than that, 
than you wouldn't be reading my drivel anyway so it doesn't matter :-)
