I believed the R line has been pushed aside at Solms, but not clearly 
communicated as discontinued not to shock the R clientele?... ;-)  
Btw. the short base flange length of the 4/3 system allows to use almost any 
manual focus slr lens with adapters, which are widely available (in better 
and in cheaper qualities). I find this one of the more interesting aspects 
of this system.
