Now, that is something I cannot disagree.
Kind of popular joke by embedded programmers about HW engineers with 
whom they used to work together: any bug/problem in a system (board 
level) can be solved by a resistor, if not - then by a capacitor. If 
neither resistor nor capacitor cures the issue - use both and the 
problem will be resolved.. LOL
