What I'm wondering is why you think I need to divert more of my income to
save a corporation? I think that I spent quite a lot on the Marquee this
past year on all new stuff. I am not willing to go out and make a purchase
of sevearl thousands of dollars so that the company might survivve. I'd
like to see them do that,, but they have so far not asked me my opinion in
the some 40 years I have been using their product.

I've done enough. I'm not into charity when the beneficiary is a
stockholder may or may not even have a sense of what the product is.
Corporate Charity doesn't work. The best thing that has happened in years
for Leica is that Zeiss and others have nipped at some heels. Wakes them
up, gets them moving.

Of course, the difference in our opinions might lie in the fact that it is
cocktail time their and pain-killer time here.
