Done in Lightroom.
In Curves:
        Took the "lights" down as far as possible (to darken grass)
        Took the "darks" down a bit (to increase contrast)
        Took the "hilights" down a bit (to increase highlight detail).
Decentered the main subject to increase visual interest, discover  
asymmetrical balance and allow the eye to move about the composition;  
as opposed to the frozen, bulls eye. Cropped the foreground oof grass  
out to strengthen the foreground nature of the subject.
