I've just posted a message to Robert Lilley, with B&W scanns I've
appreciated the same problem of you, magenta cast, and I don't like!

Even I've saw excellent works with the M8 on B&W..., I'm still woring and
prefering film.

it's so good for me to read this here !
I thought it was just me that every time I opened converted and non
converted files to monochrome I saw that magenta.
I'm on CS3, Mac and don't have, unfortunately, any M8.
