I can relate to the pain you are going through, if  not quite the depth.
It is a tough time.  My thoughts will be with you.

My Dad, at 91, entered into a "place" this year.  His Christmas party is
today.  I will spend a bit more time with him, as you helped me to focus on
what is important.  

That pint, a pie, and a bit of conversation.. no matter the subject.  

Even at 89 or 91, life is too short.
