Subject: [Leica] Leica European Publishers Award - Help

OK, I think this is way too cool a contest to let it
drop, so I've gone back and taken another look at the
rules:

quote:
"The competition is open to photographers of all
nationalities."

but there is a caveat:
"Submissions may only be posted from within Europe and
will only be returned to a postal address in Europe"

In other words, I can enter but must have an
intermediary in Europe who passes my package along
into the local mail system, addressed to the UK
publisher Dewi Lewis. And maybe purchase a 50 euro (35
pound) money order to cover the entry fee.

No stipulations that I can see about having to be a
pro or proving it.

Since my 2007 Blurb book is basically done, I figure I
can send a copy of it as an unpublished book-dummy
(because it is not publicly available).

Any LUG'ers over there want to help me out? Of course
you'd get to keep the Blurb book when it came back. If
you're interested please contact me off-list.

H.
