Well it looks great in this picture and they've got us sold these nice Zeiss
people are having their name put on a lens which is not made by them nor
made to their usual tolerances or to their usual price point and we're
going:
" and the optics don't get any better."
And eating it up like blueberry pancakes with confectionaries sugar on top
and I think we know that the optics DO get quite a bit better when we pay
the money and it would say "Leica" on the lens and it would be made by such
same company in Germany and it would be a
Leica Wide Angle 35mm f/2.0 Summicron M Aspherical Manual Focus Lens (6-Bit,
Updated for Digital) - Chrome USA
Mfr# 11882 ? B&H# LE352AMS
Price: $ 2,395.00

But can now get a lens with a German name on it for a third the price.
And all we need is that and out imaginations a fishing hook and line...
In a kinder gentler weirder world it would be the same
Or better.
But in our hearts we know it ain't.

"in the day" it would take us longer to save up for a given optic for our
Leica camera bodies." it would be less of a spur of the moment purchase.

I see a used 35mm f2
