Subject: [Leica] Update to the 40D commentary

The 40D is a big improvement over the 20D.
The issues with white balance are still dogging this Canon product.
I'm thinking of maybe going back to a gel over the flash and altering
the color balance in camera. Haven't made any tests yet, as this just
came to me as I'm writing, but definitely worth a shot.
Now that the camera is bigger I find myself not using the hand-grip
as I did with the 20D.
It has a better fit for some reason.
I've found that most non L zoom lenses are really best at f7.1 and
beyond. The prime lenses seem to do well at most of their apertures,
unlike the zooms.

An update to my 40 D comments.

Several people emailed with comments and I realized that I've come some
distance with the 40d since that post. I guess it sneaks up on
you...like

I've posted an update to the original comments in a new entry:

Cheers again.
