Ken,

This is a very nice bird photo. I like the original better. It looks  
more natural to me. And don't quit now. That feeder will offer many  
wonderful opportunities. If it were me I would probably set up a body  
and 400mm lens on a tripod aimed right at it. But that's just the  
kind of stuff I like.
