Don't apologize. Keep it up! You've inspired some good discourse. I,
too, learned from Sexton, but mainly from reading and looking at his
work. First and foremost I learned that I'm not very adept when it comes
to large format. 

Large format has to be one of the toughest tools with which to work.
Especially on location. It's slow. Not all images benefit from uber
acutance. And toting around all that equipment....what a PITA! OTOH, if
AA had merely had a 8MPx P&S in his pocket while driving near Hernandez,
"Moonrise" might never have been.
