Subject: [Leica] OT: Rollei yearbook

I administer a mailing list for Rollei users.

Rollei users can be even more stick in the mud than old Leica farts,
so we decided to follow Jim's lead and do a book based on Rollei, to
get them to show their best side (there are a lot of good sides). I am
aiming at a deadline in the first quarter of this year. After the
first book, we'll go over to a yearbook format (photographs taken
during the previous year).

There's been some talk about Rolleis lately so I thought I'd mention it.

You can join the group at:

rolleiusers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

If you are a member of Marc's freelist.org group then you don't need
to join up in yet another group. Marc and I have been in contact and
I'll be providing the details (when they are all in place) so that
they can be distributed on Marc's list.

The basics, so far, are: 7" x 7" book. Highest quality jpg-scans that
are 1500 pixels on the long side (for 5+" x 5+" printing at 300 dpi).

Yes, there are 35mm Rolleis. They're welcome too. We're not being
particularly dogmatic on this first book.
