Subject: [Leica] M7 question

Hi Stan, the meter is not on unless the shutter is cocked. So there should
be no drain.I have never abnormally drained the battery on my M7 by not
using the lock position when the film is not advanced. Unlike the M6 classic
that seems to eat batteries with no provocation.
Cheers
